Welcome to Uzbekistan: tourism – new brand of the country

The regular session of the international press club was devoted to the prospects of tourism development in Uzbekistan, the execution of decrees and decrees of the President of the country in this sphere.

Chairman of the State Committee for tourism development A. Abdukhakimov, acting first Deputy Director General of the national airline "Uzbekistan Airways" U. Khusanov, responsible officer for tourism of ministries and agencies, khokimiyats of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khorezm regions and ambassadors of Israel, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Turkey in our country, journalists attended the event.

According to experts, over the past year our country has achieved significant success in the development of tourism. However, despite the great potential, the available opportunities are not fully used.

The participants of the meeting focused on solving the existing problems.

The event focused on practical measures that contribute to the development of tourism.

According to the ambassadors of foreign countries who took part in the event, the simplified procedure of entry into Uzbekistan is the main factor in the development of tourism.

The event also focused on the development of pilgrimage and domestic tourism.
